Mobile network disruption

We have received reports from some customers of terminals failing to connect to the mobile network. This is usually indicated by the message "INIT FAILED" being displayed when the terminal is powered on.

This is due to an ongoing commercial dispute between BT and Vodafone, as a result of which our SIM provider is unable to provide access to BT-owned networks (notably EE) in the UK.

If you are experiencing this issue, please follow the instructions on our website to manually select another network: https://cabcard.services/support/network-selection (you can select any network except EE / T-Mobile / BT Mobile).

We have been advised that technical measures are being taken to ensure SIM cards will not attempt to use the problematic networks, and we would expect this to cause improvements to the situation over the next few days.

All of CabCard's systems are functioning correctly.
