Banking system degraded connectivity

For a period of approximately 10 minutes, between 01:52 and 02:03 this morning we experienced degraded connectivity to one of our banking providers. During this period, customers may have found it difficult to complete payment authorizations using POS hardware for the Visa and Mastercard schemes. American Express processing was unaffected.

The issue was quickly resolved.
