Planned maintenance - SIM configuration from 2022-04-27 12:00 GMT to 2022-04-27 14:00 GMT
Revised date for planned maintenance - the planned maintenance being carried out by our SIM provider will now take place on 27th April 2022 between 13:00 and 14:00.
We have been advised POS terminals will be unable to connect to the network for approximately 5 minutes during the specified maintenance window.
You may wish to consider setting up CabCard Go to ensure you can continue to accept contactless payments during this time. Please contact our support team if you would like more information about this.
Our SIM connectivity provider has informed us of planned maintenance on April 27th which will affect most CabCard customers using 3G or 4G POS terminals.
Due to this maintenance, most terminals will experience a 5 minute outage during the planned window, after which they will continue to function as normal with no end-user input required.
If you wish to ensure you have continued access to card payment acceptance during this time, we recommend you consider installing and configuring our SoftPOS solution CabCard Go in advance of the planned maintenance, which is available for Android phones and will allow you to accept contactless payments without the use of your POS terminal. Our support team will be happy to assist you with the setup of this service.
